Gingerbread Brownies and Brown Butter Glaze Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter

• 1 cup granulated sugar

• 1 cup dark brown sugar

• 4 eggs, beaten

• 2 tsp vanilla extract

• ⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa

• 1 cup all purpose flour

• ½ tsp baking powder

• ½ tsp salt

• 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger

• 1 tsp ground cinnamon

• 1 tsp ground allspice

• 1/4 tsp ground cloves

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 pan. 
   

2. Melt butter and cool for 5 minutes. 

3. In a large bowl, combine sugars and butter. Stir in eggs, vanilla, cocoa, flour, baking powder, salt, ginger, cinnamon, allspice and cloves. Combine well. Pour into prepared baking pan. 

4. Bake 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out with just a few crumbs on it. 

5. Cool to room temperature before slicing.
